It's supposed to have detailed explanations of every movement of the forms and hopefully how things work. Written in 1908, only recently translated into English though. There are tons more books out there. Recently purchased the Illustrated Canon of Chen Family Taijiquan by Chen Xin. In the above diagram, you see the opposing forces of In and Yo in their progression of changes around the circle. It is fun if you can invest in some older out of print books too. I was aware that Yang taijiquan had derived via Yang Lu Chan from the Chen family and this flowing form which was alternatively slow and explosive seemed to answer some of the questions and reservations I held at that time. If you havent read it and you want to know a LOT more about it, you should read this book: The Illustrated Canon of Chen Family Taijiquan. Of the Chen family and introduces the reader to Chen Wangting, who developed the foundation of this fighting art in the 17th century and the scholar Chen Xin who, in the 19th century wrote the classic Illustrated Canon of Chen Taijiquan. How many editions are they available for this Chen taiji classic, Illustrated Canon of Chen Family Taijiquan 陈氏太极拳图说 by Chen Xin (陈鑫) Quite a lot apparently. I have more if you run out of those.
